Lòng Mẹ

Lòng Mẹ bao la như biển Thái Bình rạt rào,
Tình Mẹ tha thiết như giòng suối biển ngọt ngào,
Lời Mẹ êm ái như đồng lúa chiều rì ràọ
Tiếng ru bên thềm trăng tà soi bóng Mẹ yêụ

Lòng Mẹ thương con như vầng trăng tròn mùa thụ
Tình Mẹ yêu mến như làn gió đùa mặt hồ.
Lời ru man mác êm như sáo diều dật dờ.
Nắng mưa sớm chiều vui cùng tiếng hát trẻ thợ

Thương con thao thức bao đêm trường,
Con đà yên giấc Mẹ hiền vui sướng biết baọ
Thương con khuya sớm bao tháng ngàỵ
Lặn lội gieo neo nuôi con tới ngày lớn khôn.

Dù cho mưa gió không quản thân gầy Mẹ hiền.
Một sương hai nắng cho bạc mái đầu buồn phiền.
Ngày đêm sớm tối vui cùng con nhỏ một niềm.
Tiếng ru êm đềm mẹ hiền năm tháng triền miên.

IỊLòng Mẹ chan chứa trên bao xóm làng gần xạ
Tình Mẹ dâng tới trăng ngàn đứng lặng để nghe,
Lời ru xao xuyến núi đồi suối rừng rặng trẹ
Sóng ven Thái Bình im lìm khi tiếng Mẹ rụ

Một lòng nuôi nấng vỗ về những ngày còn thợ
Một tình thương mến êm như tiếng đàn lời cạ
Mẹ hiền sớm tối khuyên ngủ bao lời mặn mà.
Khắc ghi bên lòng con trẻ muôn bước đường xạ

Thương con Mẹ hát câu êm đềm,
Run lòng thơ ấu quản gì khi thức trắng đêm.
Bao năm nước mắt như suối nguồn.
Chảy vào tim con mái tóc chót đành đẫm sương.

Dù ai xa vắng trên đường sớm chiều về đâụ
Dù khi mưa gió tháng ngày trong đời bể dâụ
Dù cho phai nắng nhưng lòng thương chẳng lạt mầụ
Vẫn mong quay về vui vầy dưới bóng mẹ yêụ

Mother's love

Mother's love is boundless like the overflowing Pacific ocean.
Mother's love is ceaseless like a gentle and sweet stream.
Mother's words is soft as an whispering rice field.
The lullaby (outside veranda), the declining-moon's shades, mother.

Mother's love for me is like the autumn moon.
Mother's love is like a breath of air playing on lake's surface.
Her vague lullaby is soft as a cadenced kite's flute,
rain and shine, all day long, playing with kids' singing.

Loving us, she spent many restless nights,
we had tight sleep, how happy our mum was.
Loving us, many days and many nights,
taking pains and troubles, she nursed us til grown-up age.

Through ups and downs, our thin mother doesn't mind.
All life's hardships make her sad head hoary.
All days and nights, she's glad for us wholeheartly.
Her sweet lullabies echo through years, interminably.


Mother's love overflows villages everywhere.
Mother's love rises high, moon and mountains listen silently.
Her lullabies agitate mountains, streams, bamboo rows.
Pacific waves are quiescent when hearing her lullabies.

With all her heart, mum comforted us through childhood.
A great affection is soft as music and singing.
All day long, she admonishes us with ardent words,
engraved on our hearts through thousand of miles away.

Loving us, mum sang pleasant words.
To lull us to sleep, she din't mind to have wakeful nights.
Many years, her tears flowed down like streams,
flowing in our hearts, her hair was already gray.

Whoever is on the road to somewhere far away,
despite all hardships through the whirligig of time,
though sunlights go dim but love will never fade,
always expect to be back under mother's shade.

Nửa vầng trăng đơn côi trong đêm
Buồn nhớ ai trăng rơi trên sông
Cùng sông nước trăng trôi lang thang

Đi tìm người thương

 
Nửa vầng trăng anh nơi phương xa
Nửa nhớ mong em đây ngóng chờ

Chờ anh đến với nhớ

Cho tròn vầng trăng

 
Người ở đâu trăng em lẻ loi

Nỡ quên mau yêu thương ngày nào
Vầng trăng héo úa với tiếc thương

Cho tình vội xa

 
Chỉ còn em đêm ôm cô đơn

Ánh trăng non ai chia đôi vầng
Buồn rơi mãi dẫu có đớn đau

Vẫn ôm tình anh

 
Ngồi đây với trăng tàn lẻ loi

Lòng em nhớ anh nơi cuối trời
Dù rằng anh giờ đây phôi pha
